How to Play:
Craps has a reputation of a complicated game. Actually, craps is one of the easiest casino games. Since there are about 40 different betting options, the game seem a little intimidating at first sight. For craps beginners it is recommended to ignore the different betting options and to focus on the basic passline bet.
Passline Bet
The passline bet is the most common craps bet and it is used by all of the players. The player places a passline bet before the come out roll, which is when the new shooter starts his roll. If the shooter rolling result is 7 or 11, the player wins. If it is 2, 3, or twelve, he loses. If the result is any other number, the number becomes the point number. The shooter has to roll again that number before 7 is rolled in order to win the passline bet. In case the 7 is rolled before the point number, the player loses.
After the point number is determined, the player can make another bet, which is know as the odds bet. The odds bet is the only bet in the casino paid by its true odds.
Learning the basic passline bet in the craps table enables you to start playing craps. After you have practiced your craps playing skill, you can move on and learn the other craps betting types.
