Harrahs Entertainment won the Casino Players Best of Gaming Awards for the sevenths year in a row. In the 2006 poll, organized by the Casino Player magazine, Harrahs properties won 228 first-place awards and 562 total awards.
Gary Loveman, chairman, CEO and president of Harrahs Entertainment said that winning the Best of Gaming Awards proves the company commitment to excellence in customers service. He said that the awards are a tribute to the company employees.
In this year Casino Players Best of Gam0ing Awards, for the first time Harrahs was selected as the top casino entertainment provider in the Las Vegas strip market winning 39 first-place honors out of total of 78 awards. Among other honors, Harrahs won as the Best Headliners in Las Vegas for hosting Celine Dion and Elton John in Caesars Palace, Best Overall Casino, Best Casino Promotions and Luckiest Casino in Las Vegas Strip.
