The Legends in Concert show went on the Imperial Theatre stage at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Friday for the 24 year in a row. The 2006 Legends in Concert includes impersonators of Jay Leno, Jackie Wilson, Prince, the Blues Brothers, Whitney Houston and Elvis Presley.
The debut performance of Legends in Concert was held exactly 24 years ago, on May 5, 1983 and included impersonators of Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe, Bobby Darin and Elvis Presley. Ever since that debut performance, the show included impersonators of more than 70 pop culture icons, with Elvis being the most popular impersonated celebrity. About 16 different performances have chosen to impersonate Elvis for the last 24 years.
The Imperial Theatre stage hosts the popular show Legends in Concert for the 24 years of its existence. The Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino also offers its customers to play blackjack with celebrity impersonators as dealers.
