lottery jackpots: a staggering hundred and eighty-five million dollars each. One of the winners, as was reported recently, is a truck driver. Care to guess how many trucks he will drive from tomorrow?
But, he should hold his breath and hope that no winning tickets emerge from the lone state that hasn't as yet reported its winners: California. I wonder what's happening there! Too much sun, I guess. Even the Presidential elections were about this sunny state. Just another winner could mean that each of the already declared winners will lose sixty two million. And, if fortune continues to smile on an additional winner, it will mean that each of these two winners will lose ninety two and a half million dollars. How's that for losing money abruptly.
But, I wonder: will they happy they have won Ninety Two and half million dollars, or will they wallow in sadness because of losing an additional ninety-two and a half million.
The two winners are from Georgia and New Jersey, and its rumored that when the numbers were drawn live from Time Square in New York, they screamed so loudly that their voices have yet to recover. But, then, with so much money coming to them, who wouldn't go berserk?
