Celebpoker.com announced the winner of its first ever poker league. El Bis of Barcelona won the choice between 15,000 dollars cash prize and a seat at the World Poker Tour Diamond Tournament.
The first season of Celebpoker.com first poker league ended with El Bis championship. The poker league champion won 15,000 dollars entry to the WPT Diamond Tournament at The Bellagio, Las Vegas.
In an interview after he was announced the winner, El Bis said that his experience at the 2006 World Series of Poker proves that he can compete against the worlds top poker pros. Therefore, he intends to play at the World Poker Tour Diamond Tournament that will be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
The top ten finishers in Celebpoker.com poker league won prizes such as poker chip sets, playing cards and Celebpoker polo shirts. According to Celebpoker.com representatives, the second season of Celebpoker.com league is expected to be bigger and better.
