Bluff Magazine, one of the more popular poker magazines around, recently anounced who the 2006
Bluff poker player of the year is. The name, as declared yesterday, is Chad Brown. When informed, Chad was delighted. He said it was his biggest feat since he began playing poker as a boy and then turned pro some years back.
"I never thought I'd make it so big," Chad continued. "I am enormously proud of this accomplishment." Chad was so overwhelmed that he likened how he felt to that of an actor who has just won an Oscar at the Academy Awards.
This is surprising since Chad was selected because of hiw incredible winning streak in tournament poker. But Chad was distinctive. He said that this is a greater achievement than winning a single poker tournament at any casino because there, if a certain player, is lucky and gets a good hand, they can win. But, Chad continued, to be considered as one of the World's Greatist Players is something that no tournament win can do for you.
Chad was chosen because he played in large tournaments with a minimum limit of more than five thousand and which included more than a thousand poker or casino players taking part.
