On the first of December, the well known blind tenor,
Andrea Bocelli, who has appeared with some of the finest philharmonic orchestras and some of the most renowned composers and conductors such as Zubin Mehta and also Lorin Maazel and Kurt Masur, will be signing some all time hits and favorites at the
MGM Grand casino garden arena.
Born in Ital, about fifty years ago, Andrea Bocelli revised his classical into a soft semi-classical voice that brought him a long list of fans. He has recorded and sung six full operas:
- Tosca
- Cavalleria Rusticana
- Werther
- La Boheme
- Pagliacci
- Il Trovatore
and these have been a huge hit all over the world selling more than fifty million.
Even though he lost his eyesight relatively late (when he was eleven) because of glaucoma and a football accident, Andrea shot ahead especially when Pavarotti recommended him to Zuchero and he toured Europe with him. Andrea Bocelli has shared the stage with many opera greats such as Sarah Brighton and Pavarotti. He was also one of the singers who sang at Pavarotti's funeral.
