PPA organizes a rally and a cocktail party to defend the right to play poker online.

The poker players organization Poker Players Alliance plans to organize a rally and a cocktail party against the new online poker ban. The rally/party is scheduled to July 28 and it will take place in at Buzios Seafood Restaurant in the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The rally is sponsored by Poker Players Alliance president Michael Bolcerek, and members Chris Ferguson, Linda Johnson, Howard Lederer, Greg Raymer and other well known poker players. PPA invites all poker players to join the event and to show support in their favorite game.

Poker Players Alliance president, Michael Bolcerek stated that poker has always been one of the most popular pastimes in America and he intends to defend the right to enjoy playing poker online. Ferguson, Johnson, Lederer and Raymer have also added a support statement claiming that they will continue defend on their right to play poker.
