Major casino companies are now working to lobby Congress for legalizing online gambling. Following such success as the legalization of online gambling in Europe, and the subsequent boom of Internet commerce, U.S. politicians may be passing up a great opportunity that, across the Atlantic, has given to the European community.
The House is expected to pass the legislation, but it is thought to be very unlikely that the Senate will follow suit. The Senate will need a two thirds majority to pass the bill.
