Harrahs Entertainment subsidiary, Harrahs Operating Company has been awarded by the US Patent and Trademark Office. The patent is named Resource Price Management Incorporating Indirect Value. It is 18th patent of the leading Las Vegas based gaming entertainment company to be awarded by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
The patent uses the value of the customers acquire in the property amenities such as gaming, dining, etc to describe setting customized prices for hotel rooms and other possessions. It allows Harrahs to use its hotel room array in more effective manner. In addition, it helps Harrahs to maximize its profits from each hotel room according to the company patrons experience.
David Norton, Harrahs senior vice president of relationship marketing said that the patent displays Harrahs innovative use of technology to improve the patrons experience. He added that the patent is a significant addition to the company profit management system. The patent will enable Harrahs to develop new sections including non gaming sections.
The Las Vegas based Harrahs Entertainment is the biggest branded casino entertainment provider in the world. It owns or operates about 40 casinos through various subsidiaries, mainly under the brand names Harrahs, Caesars and Horseshoe.
