The TouchPlay video lottery machines were legalized few years ago. Since then, those machines can be found in thousands of retail outlets across the state. The lawmakers who object gambling claim the TouchPlay machines are similar to gambling machines.
The battle against the TouchPlay machine was supported by backers of the states legalized casino industry who are worried from the competition created by the machines.
