Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will be hosting the 100,000 dollars Tornado Table Soccer World Championships Series tournament. The five days tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday September 20, 2006. The tournament is expected to feature over 750 of the top table soccer players.
The worlds top table soccer players will be competing this weekend on the Table Soccer World Championships title and on the 100,000 dollars first prize. The Tornado Table Soccer World Championships Series will include variety of events for masters, pros, and amateurs.
Frederico Collignon of Belgium who is ranked as the number one table soccer player in the world, will be facing the best table soccer in the US, Billy Pappas. 21 years old Pappas of Lowell, Massachusetts is the leading player of the US National Foosball Team. Other serious candidates for the championship titles include World Singles Champion Tony Spredeman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and multi time World Champions Todd Loffredo and Steve Murray.
The Las Vegas event is the final stop of the ITSF World Series tour. Table soccer players from more than 35 countries are given the opportunity to earn their participations at the ITSF World Series Finals, which will be held in St. Vincent, Italy in November.
