The West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department is going to hold a Longaberger Basket Bingo April 1.
Next April 1, at the Sykesville-Freedom Volunteer Fire Hall, a very special event will be held. The West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department has organized a bingo session for benefit purposes. The event will include 20 regular game, a raffle, and 3 specials.
The purpose of this event is to collect money for the medical expenses of a volunteer firefighter and police officer from Glenwood. Pieter Lucas was injured last November in an accident in Ellicott City, while he was directing traffic. His fellows at the Firefighter Volunteer Department organized this event to help him.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Sykesville-Freedom Volunteer Fire Hall, which is located at Freedom Avenue on Route 32. For more information about the basket bingo, call 410-489-9958.
