Group of MMF trainers, students and officials were caught gambling on card game.
Haveli police arrested around 20 students and officials at the Maharashtra Military Foundation (MMF) for gambling. The group of MMF trainers, students and officials were caught at the foundation office on Sunday night playing teen patti, which is a gambling card game.
Former army officer Colonel Jayant Chitale, was also arrested during the raid. Chitale was in a middle of a scandal three years ago when he claimed to organize a suicide force who agreed to die fighting against Pakistan.
Chitale is suspected of managing the foundation, Prakash Sawant is apparently the owner of the flat were the gambling took place. Nine more office barriers between the ages of 20 and 50 were arrested at the police raid.
