A leading Missouri gambling regulator left his job as executive director of the Missouri Gaming Commission on Wednesday.
Kevin P. Mullally announced accepting a job as general counsel and director of governmental affairs for Gaming Laboratories International. The New Jersey based firm is responsible for reviewing gambling machines for regulatory agencies across the world.
Steve Johnson, deputy director of enforcement for the commission, will replace Mullally until a permanent candidate will take his place. Mullally, a former lawyer, has been chief enforcer since 2001 and helped writing many of Missouris gambling laws.
