Boyd Gaming intends to build a casino hotel in a 40 acre site in North Las Vegas. Boyd Gaming announced on Monday its plans to build a casino hotel in North Las Vegas. The gaming company from Las Vegas intends to pay 35 million dollars for the 40 acre site where the casino is planned to be located.
Boyd CEO Bill Boyd stated the casino building is scheduled to start during the next year. The casino location is in the constant developing North Las Vegas, and it will not clash with the company other facilities in the city. North Las Vegas is the third fastest developing city in the US.
According to Boyd spokesman Rob Stillwell, the company planned casino will not compete with Station Casinos planned Aliante residential community. Boyds casino site is located around five miles of Station casino, which its opening is scheduled to the middle of 2008.
