The biggest casino in Montana is about to open its doors. The new Glacier Peaks Casino in Browning, Montana is operated by the Blackfeet Nation of Montana and Gary Green. Glacier Peaks Casino will also include the biggest rasino in Northwest America.
The new casino will contain more than 500 slot machines, table games such as non-house-banked blackjack, mini baccarat, craps and bingo-based roulette and a poker room. In addition, the new casino will offer 2,000 seats horse racetrack the size of a mile and a quarter. Glacier Peaks will also offer a bar and several restaurants that will be open 24 hours a day.
Glacier Peaks Casino gala opening is scheduled to the Labor Day weekend. A second, softer opening is due to the middle of August 2006. Ninety five percent of Glacier Peaks employees are members of Blackfeet Nation.
The Blackfeet Tribes Siyeh Development Corporation brought Gary Green to the management of the casino who were impressed by its work at the Ottawa Nation Casino the High Winds. Green is known in the casino gambling industry for his aggressive marketing.
