One of the biggest online gambling companies in the UK the 32Red Plc have signed a sponsorship deal with football club Aston Villa. According to the deal, the 32Red logo will appear on the football team shirts during the 2006/2007 Premiership season.
The company that operates the online casinos 32Red.com and an online poker room operator will be the new official sponsor of Premiership football club Aston Villa for the next two years. According to the agreements, 32Red will pay six figures for each season, while Aston Villa will get additional revenues.
According to Ed Ware, CEO of 32Red Plc, the agreement with Aston Villa fits their strategic marketing plans. He hopes the partnership would benefit the company by exposing the online casino and poker room through television and national press.
