Poker Players Alliance President Michael Bolcerek released a statement following Majority Leader Bill Frist attempts to add internet gambling ban bill to the Department of Defense Authorization bill.
In his statement, Bolcerek protests against the Frists attempts to include the online gambling legislation in the DoD Authorization bill. He claimed that this attempt is would damage the American public as well as the men and women in the American Armed Forces.
Michael Bolcerek is the president of one of the biggest poker players organizations in the state with more than 110,000 members. In his statement he claims that poker is one of the most popular pastimes in America, therefore the online poker ban is bound to fail. He suggested to establish regulations and safeguards for online poker instead of banning any form of gambling on the internet.
