Allen Cunningham won a WSOP bracelet and a sum of 625,830 dollars in the 1,000 dollars No-Limit Holdem with Rebuys tournament, which took place in Las Vegas last week as part of the World Series of Poker events. Cunningham was selected in 2005 as the ESPN/Toyota Player of the Year.
Cunningham is the third poker player sent by the online poker room Full Tilt Poker to win the 2006 World Series of Poker, in addition to Rafe Furst and Mark Vos. Cunningham Ace-Queen hand gained him his WSOP bracelet after beating second finisher David Rheems Jack-nine.
Cunningham won his fourth WSOP bracelet in his pro poker career. In 2005, he earned his third WSOP bracelet by winning 1,500 dollars No-Limit Hold%u2018em tournament. According to fellow Full Tilt Poker pro Howard Lederer, Cunningham second winning in a major WSOP No-Limit Hold em event makes him one of the best poker players in the world.
