Nevada Business Leadership Network had selected Peppermill Hotel Casino as the Employer of the Month for August. The Reno casino resort was selected for its commitment to supply permanent jobs to people with disabilities.
The Nevada Business Leadership Network is a member of a state organization that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce. Peppermill Hotel Casino has been collaborating with the Nevada Business Leadership Network in hiring a team of employees with disabilities.
Peppermill Hotel Casino Director of Human Resources, Carol Stewart, said that the company is proud to be selected by the Nevada Business Leadership Network as the Employer of the Month. He added that hiring people with disabilities is one of the ways the company contributes to the community.
Peppermill intends to continue collaborating with the Nevada Business Leadership Network. It also plans to host the Business Leadership Sz ymon Awards Luncheon, which will honor employees with disabilities and their employers. The luncheon is scheduled to October 31, 2006 and it is a part of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month
