The top UK online bookmaker BetUK is offering odds on the European Poker Tour London event. The prestigious poker event takes place at the Victoria Club in London and it features 200 top poker players in the UK and worldwide. The EPT London event is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 21 September, 2006.
According to the UK online bookmaker BetUK, the American pro poker players Phil Ivey and Barry Greenstein have the best odds of winning the European Poker Tour London event. Currently, Phil Levy is leading with 25 to 1 and Barry Greenstein with 50 to 1. Only 12 players out of 200 entrants are listed below 125 to 1 including Greg Raymer who previously won at the World Series of Poker winner.
According to BetUK spokesman Paul Cutton, the EPT London has one of the toughest competitions in the world of pro poker since most of the competitors are acclaimed pro poker players and some of them even won a golden bracelet at the World Series of Poker. He added that generous odds show that the EPT London event is going to be face tough competition.
