If everyone is predicting that the online gambling ban will fail, why was it passed in the first pla
With more and more experts saying everyday that the online gambling ban is a bad idea and that it will not be able to stop online gambling, but after only 2 weeks the government is still backing its decision, and I would not expect it to change anytime soon.

If so many experts say the new online gambling ban is unenforceable, why keep it? And the answer is because it%u2019s an election year.

With a republican in the White House and a republican congress it is easy for them to govern as they see fit, but if they lost congress they would have to fight to get anything the republicans wanted passed.

There strategy is to get conservatives and those on the fence to think that online gambling was just as dangerous for our country as terrorism is, but with an estimated 50 million online gamblers in the USA, that would mean about 50 million votes guaranteed to vote for anyone who is for reversing the ban.

It seems the republicans are more worried about losing the congress then they are running the government and unfortunately it means that we are the ones who have to suffer.
