World Poker Tour announced Thursday its new and expanded schedule for 2006-7.
The WPT will include three additional events at Bellagio, Borgata and Foxwoods casinos. The Borgata Poker Classic is scheduled to January 26 -30, 2007 and the Foxwoods Poker will take place on April 1-4, 2007.
World Poker Tour had also announced changing dates for some of their poker events. The popular WPT Ladies Night was rescheduled to August 31, 2006 and it will be held at The Bicycle Casino. The new WPT Bounty Hunters tournament will be
launched at Borgata on Sept 18, 2006. The WPT Bounty Hunters will include six of the worlds hottest poker pros starting out with 250,000 dollars. The filming of the poker events at each of the WPT stops is open for view. This gives an opportunity to poker fans to watch poker pros in action.
Steve Lipscomb, CEO and founder of WPT Enterprises said he was happy to expand WPT to three additional events. He said that the World Poker Tour purpose is to provide an opportunity to all poker players around the country to become poker pros.
